Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU at Fairfield Hospital to provide high-level nursing care to critically ill patients. The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, and evidence-based interventions in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience is required.
• 6 months RN experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS; ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS preferred in lieu of BLS/ACLS for Pediatric Units.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and conduct patient assessments.
• Create and implement plans of care; monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Administer medications safely following policies and state practice.
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions with clinical judgement.
