Job summary

Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CVICU/ICU who will assess patient status, plan care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver critical care. The role requires current RN licensure and BLS/ACLS within 6 months of hire, with PALS preferred for pediatric units.

Minimum 1 year RN experience is required, with preference for critical care or emergency department exposure.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS required within 6 months of hire; PALS preferred in lieu of BLS/ACLS for Pediatric Units.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and determine priority of problems; develop and implement care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and provide evidence-based nursing care.
• Administer medications safely and monitor responses per policies.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and respond to rapid changes in patient condition.
