Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Multispecialty Care team in the CVICU at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. The role focuses on bedside acute care with collaboration across the care team.

The ideal candidate is licensed as an RN in the state and has critical care experience; BSN is preferred. Night shifts are 36 hours per week with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and licensure in the state of practice.
• BSN preferred.
• Critical care nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as per unit patient population.
• Specialty certifications such as CCRN or CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on bedside care in the CVICU.
• Coordinate with the patient care team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Participate in care planning and patient education.
