Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a CVICU/RN for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role features rotating day/night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and a typical daily census of around 10 patients with 1:1 to 3:1 staffing for high-acuity cases.

Active RN license and BLS/ACLS/CPI required; NIH listed; CCRN preferred. Must be able to float within CVICU and cover weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years CVICU experience required.
• Active RN license.
• BLS/ACLS/CPI required; NIH listed; CCRN preferred.
• Ability to float within specialty as needed.
• Available to work every other weekend and required holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide CVICU/CICU patient care with 1:1 to 3:1 staffing depending on acuity.
• Perform central line and arterial line insertions; assist bronchoscopy and chest tube insertions.
• Manage mechanical support devices when applicable (IABP, Impella) and assist with LVAD/heart transplant workups.
• Float to lower acuity units as needed; adhere to infection prevention and charting protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT,Resp, Pharmacy.
• Weekend work and on-call may be required.
