Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a CICU/CVICU RN for a 13-week night contract in Baltimore, MD. The 15-bed unit requires CVICU experience and handles adults and geriatrics with complex cardiovascular needs.

Shifts are 3x12 hours (19:00–07:30) with every other weekend and holidays; duties include monitoring vitals, administering meds, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support LVAD/heart transplant patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience.
• Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS; CCRN preferred.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient care for adults and geriatrics in a CVICU setting.
• Care of patients on advanced therapies such as LVAD and heart transplants.
• Perform bedside procedures including central line placements and chest tube insertions.
• Manage complex cases including cardiogenic shock and cardiac arrhythmias.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
