Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) in the New York Southern Tier seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for overnight shifts. You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care for a high-acuity patient population recovering from cardiac and vascular surgery, with a focus on patient- and family-centered care.

The role offers a compensation range of $40.70–$61.05 per hour, a sign-on bonus up to $25,000, and comprehensive benefits after meeting 24

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• CCR N certification preferred; ACLS, PALS, TNCC encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.
• Serve as a primary or accountable nurse as needed.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management.
• Safely administer medications according to UHS policies.
• Participate in Nursing Shared Governance, unit council, and quality improvement initiatives.
