Job summary

USA Health Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Critical Care Intensivist to join the CVICU supporting a growing cardiothoracic and vascular surgery program. You will serve as the primary critical care physician for postoperative cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients, including those requiring ECMO.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-acuity surgical or cardiovascular critical care settings.
• Specific expertise in ECMO management is preferred.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in critical care medicine.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary critical care physician for postoperative cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients in the CVICU.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons for patient care.
• Manage ECMO and other mechanical circulatory/respiratory support.
• Provide advanced ventilator management and invasive monitoring as needed.
