Job summary

Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, is seeking a Full-Time CVICU Intensivist to join its cardiovascular program. You will deliver comprehensive critical care to high-acuity cardiac patients within a collaborative team environment.

The role offers competitive compensation starting at a base salary of $445,000 per year, with extensive benefits and opportunities to advance within Virtua’s integrated health system and premier heart failure services, including a VAD program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Completion of accredited residency and fellowship in CVICU or related field.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary/Critical Care, Critical Care, or Anesthesiology with Critical Care fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care management in the CVICU.
• Collaborate with cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and other specialties.
• Manage complex cardiovascular conditions including cardiogenic shock and mechanical circulatory support needs.
• Participate in clinical decision-making, care coordination, and quality improvement.
• Support evidence-based practices and development of the cardiovascular critical care program.
