Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – BSN required.
• Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Educator RN carries out a plan of educational activities to enhance, promote, and maintain the standard of care within the hospital.
• Facilitate ongoing staff development and competency assessments.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs and implement effective training.
