Job Summary

Perform back-end and box-build assembly processes to ensure on-time shipments of a quality product. Work efficiently according to workmanship standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.
  2. Verify incoming material for accuracy and store using FIFO (first in, first out) inventory system.
  3. Manually assemble systems using specific tooling, torque drivers, and hardware at a predetermined run rate.
  4. Scan components or sub-assemblies from flow racks, bins, or Kanban locations.
  5. Maintain certifications and proficiency in various assembly and testing operations.
  6. Pull and scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks or bin locations.
  7. Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas.
  8. Execute purge process as needed.
  9. Maintain functionality of all production equipment through preventative maintenance.
  10. Keep the work area organized and clean following 5S standards.
  11. Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge Requirements
  • Ability to calculate parts quantities for preparation.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with managers, clients, and the public.
  • Problem-solving skills, including data collection and analysis.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and related software, including Jabil’s packages.
  • Basic writing and reading comprehension skills.
  • Ability to interpret simple instructions and visual aids.
  • Capable of handling standardized situations with minimal variables.
