NSG Group/Pilkington is seeking a highly motivated undergraduate student in chemical or mechanical engineering to support R&D in Chemical Vapor Deposition. This internship emphasizes real-world, hands-on experience to prepare you for your career.

You will operate CVD lab equipment, prepare substrates, handle chemicals safely, troubleshoot processes, improve safety, assist in developing new lab equipment, and maintain accurate records in line with ISO9001:2000 standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Chemistry.
• Demonstrated hands-on technical skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Operate complex CVD lab equipment.
• Prepare glass substrates for lab depositions.
• Safely handle chemicals according to SDS standards.
• Troubleshoot process problems and implement timely solutions.
• Improve safety across CVD lab operations.
• Assist in development and implementation of new CVD lab equipment.
• Operate pilot scale equipment in lab and manufacturing plants.
• Create and adhere to SOPs for CVD lab equipment.
• Communicate effectively with lab personnel.
• Maintain accurate records in line with ISO9001:2000 standards.
• Adhere to company values and standards.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
