Job Description
Job Summary:
- Ensure process control equipment is calibrated, running efficiently, and performing to specifications.
- Formats and establishes preventative maintenance procedures for process equipment and systems and ensures proper compliance
- Modifies, configures, services, and maintains computer, microprocessor, and process controller systems throughout the plant
- Operate and performs basic programming for microprocessors, process controllers, and various computers as required
- Participate in the proposal, appraisal, and purchase of new equipment for projects that enhance plant operations
- Conducts surveys and evaluates results to determine efficiency and/or suitability of process control devices or systems
- Assists the Maintenance Training Lead to develop and conduct training sessions on process control systems and equipment for all levels of involved plant personnel
- Writes job orders, reports, and other documentation required for effective communications and working processing
- Support, promote, and adhere to all Vitro rules and policies
Requirements:
- Fork Truck licensed and certified or have the ability to become licensed and certified
- Minimum 2 year degree or certification in a related field or be working towards a degree or certification.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience in this field.
- Must have satisfactorily met the requirements of the Maintenance Entrance tests
- Must be knowledgeable with Oscilloscope, PC, Multimeter, TC Calibration, Pressure Calibration, HART Communicator, and PLCs
- Complete required additional training within acceptable timeframes
- Motivated, self-driven, and organized
- Ability to be able to effectively communicate with others
- Willing to assist in other roles and departments as required
