Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a CVD Equipment Technician (Nights) to maintain and recover 300mm AMAT tools. You will perform scheduled PMs, troubleshoot faults, monitor process signals, and document interlocks with the Process team.

This role requires 7+ years in semiconductor equipment maintenance, AMAT Producer/Ultima experience, and the ability to follow SOPs. Shift is Sunday–Tuesday 7:00 PM–7:15 AM with alternating Saturdays; competitive hourly pay and full benefits offered on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience.
• 300mm AMAT Producer or Ultima maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting AMAT equipment.
• High-volume fabrication experience.
• Expertise on AMAT robots preferred.
• Experience with LFM setup on AMAT tools preferred.
• Must be able to follow SOP.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance following detailed SOP.
• Troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Monitor and respond to abnormal equipment signals.
• Work with senior personnel and engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Correct and generate SOPs when required.
• Work hours: B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.

Technicians will perform preventative maintenance on CVD equipment and recovery equipment faults. Daily equipment process and equipment trend monitoring will be required, as is responding to interlocks in a timely manner. Documenting / communicating material from tool interruptions to Process team to ensure the material is measured and dispositioned correctly. Technician will interact with Shift Supervisor in scheduling PMs, delivering ETAs for tool recovery, Documenting/following standard operating procedures during PM execution is required. High energy with a focus on Quality and detail is required.
