Job summary

CHCP Healthcare and Educational Services LLC is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonography Program Director to lead and grow the CVS program. You will guide students, support faculty, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards while keeping the curriculum current and the program well managed.

You'll supervise instructors, participate in staff hiring, monitor outcomes, advise students, and collaborate with the education team to expand program offerings and maintain a high-quality academic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and three years of practical experience in the program field.
• Current registry, license, or certification in at least one cardiovascular specialty.
• Has teaching experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage time well and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates academic and experiential background in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography profession.
• Possesses a current registration/credential from a nationally recognized sonography credentialing agency.
• If overseeing a concentration, ensure it is credentialed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Cardiovascular Sonography program.
• Work closely with faculty to ensure courses are up to date and meet accreditation standards.
• Support and supervise instructors, including reviewing lesson plans and providing guidance.
• Help choose new instructional staff and take part in hiring decisions.
• Keep an eye on program outcomes like completion rates and job placements.
• Stay in touch with students—advise, orientation, and admissions interviews when needed.
• Organize and run program advisory board meetings.
• Review feedback from students, graduates, and employers to keep improving the program.
• Help plan annual start dates and support scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body regulations.
• Pitch in with new program development and campus events.
• Assist the Director of Education and registrar as needed.
