Job Description

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, has a great opportunity for a CV Sonographer in Oklahoma City, OK. In this position, you’ll be part of our Diagnostic Cardiology team supporting INTEGRIS Health caregivers and the community. Responsibilities
  • Review patient clinical history and prior imaging.
  • Prepare exam room and patient for examination.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Explain procedures and communicate effectively with patients.
  • Prioritize and perform sonography exams independently, including echocardiograms and vascular studies.
  • Assist with invasive procedures and provide ultrasound guidance.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and quality control.
  • Document findings and prepare reports for review.
  • Participate in quality improvement and continuing education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members and assist with training.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited sonography training program with clinical experience in echocardiography; vascular experience preferred.
  • Certification by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI.
  • Adult cardiac registry within 1 year of hire; pediatric and vascular registries recommended.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and effective communication in English.
