A leading healthcare provider in Lexington, Kentucky, is looking for a qualified cardiovascular ultrasound technician. This role involves performing various ultrasound procedures and ensuring patient care in a professional manner while collaborating with a healthcare team. The position requires specific licenses and certifications to deliver high-quality patient services.
Job Summary / Purpose
Performs cardiovascular ultrasound procedures including echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, peripheral, extracranial, and visceral vascular ultrasound as appropriate for credentialing. Completes study reports and displays a positive image of Saint Joseph Hospital by demonstrating courteous and professional behavior toward patients, physicians, visitors, volunteers, and staff. Provides patient care/services based on identified needs and developmental level for all patient populations, which may include assessment of individual needs, age-specific education, communication, planning, and provision of individualized care with appropriate interventions.
