Job summary

Stormont Vail HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will perform imaging and scrub duties for cardiac catheterization and peripheral arteriograms, including PCI and coronary angiography, while supporting electrophysiology procedures as applicable.

Qualifications

  • 1 year diagnostic radiology experience preferred with knowledge of diagnostic radiology procedures.
  • Experience in invasive cardiovascular or procedural settings is preferred.
  • Requires ARRT registration within 12 months of employment to maintain position.
  • Licensed Radiology Technologist (LRT) - KS license within 60 days of hire or ARRT registry.
  • BLS required within 90 days; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs imaging and scrubbing duties for cardiac catheterization procedures and peripheral arteriograms, including PCI and coronary angiography.
  • Provides imaging support for structural heart and electrophysiology procedures as applicable to the Cath Lab.
  • Operates fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment; documents imaging and responsibilities in the medical record.
  • Prepares procedure rooms, maintains sterile technique, and supports emergency readiness.
  • Monitors patient status during procedures and communicates changes to the care team; participates in STEMI/on-call rotations.
  • Delivers age-appropriate care from school-age to geriatric patients and adheres to safety and infection control policies.
