Meta Reality Labs is seeking a principal-level CV/ML Systems Engineer to lead the integration of software onto hardware platforms powering next-generation VR and AR products. You will orchestrate cross-functional teams across silicon, ML platform, perception algorithms, and firmware to deliver CV/ML capabilities with the latency required for immersive spatial computing experiences.

This role blends program leadership with technical architecture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hardware systems architecture experience focusing on CV/ML workloads.
• Experience defining SoC or system-level architecture for CV/ML inference, including ISP pipelines and memory subsystems.
• Experience with hardware-software co-design methodologies for on-device CV/ML workloads and perception algorithm profiling.

Responsibilities

• Drive organization-wide software integration programs onto hardware platforms and cross-functional teams.
• Define end-to-end program roadmap for integrating CV/ML inference on VR/AR hardware across generations.
• Lead hardware-software co-design to align milestones with silicon tape-out schedules and hardware readiness.
