Job summary

LSI Staffing Pasadena is hiring Wire Cutters for our client, an electrical company located in Pasadena, TX.

Pay: $18–$20/hr DOE. Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Responsibilities include measuring and cutting electrical wire, operating wire-cutting equipment, reading measurements and work orders, labeling and preparing wire for orders, inspecting wire lengths and quality, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Reading a tape measure
• Basic math skills used in measurement and ordering
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable with good attendance
• Ability to read and follow work orders and specifications

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut electrical wire and cable according to work orders and specifications
• Operate wire-cutting and measuring equipment safely and accurately
• Read measurements, work orders, and basic specifications
• Label, organize, coil, and prepare wire for orders
• Inspect wire and cable for proper length and quality
• Maintain accurate counts and verify completed orders
• Assist with pulling and preparing materials for production or shipment
