Veritiv seeks a Cutter Operator to set up, program, and run a Cutter machine in a fast-paced printing production environment. You will load stock, align stacks, and ensure materials meet exact specifications while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

The role requires reading job tickets and measurements, basic math, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and a path for skill development.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of related job experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job jackets, layouts and specifications.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements.
• Must be mechanically inclined with basic electronic/computer knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Review tickets, layouts, impositions and specs to determine cutting requirements.
• Set up, program and operate Cutter machine to customer specs and deadlines.
• Load stock, align and transport finished materials to next operation or shipping.
• Inspect finished materials for dimension accuracy and quality.
• Complete production records and quality documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues with maintenance notification.
