Location: American Games, 504 34th Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Department: Finishing | Employment Type: Full-time | Seniority Level: Entry level

Role Overview

This full-time position plays a critical role in manufacturing charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets and bingo paper. The Cutter Operator is responsible for operating guillotine cutting machines, reading job specifications, performing quality checks, and ensuring products meet standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor cutting machines for precise production.
  • Read and interpret job tickets and packing instructions accurately.
  • Perform quality control checks during production.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical issues, escalate complex problems.
  • Input production data into computer systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily goals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Assist with packing, labeling, and materials handling as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; experience considered.
  • 2-3+ years operating cutting machinery.
  • Mechanical proficiency and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, basic math, measurement, and computer skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder; pass background and drug tests.
