Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Cutter Deck Operator at the GF Plant in Grand Forks. You will operate cutter equipment, perform upstream grading, and ensure cuts meet safety, quality and production goals.

Responsibilities include cross-training on Line 1 and Line 4, following SOPs, maintaining sanitation and line flow, and entering data into MMS and WonderWare. Requires high school diploma and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read and communicate in English, and work in extreme environments.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the Job Skill Evaluation to begin training.
• Must complete the Structured Job Training program within recommended timeframe to remain in the position permanently.
• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work with hazardous chemicals.
• Must be able to use a computer and navigate applications.

Responsibilities

• Cutter Deck Operators are cross trained between Line 1 and Line 4 Cutter duties.
• Follow safety practices and SOPs to prevent injuries.
• Attend and participate in all training activities for the position.
• Ensure sanitation of equipment and housekeeping of the facility.
• Monitor line flow and equipment, and enter/extract data in MMS and WonderWare.
• Perform cut changes per customer and company specifications.
