Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking a meticulous Cutlist Job Processor to prepare accurate cutlists from sales packages, verify included components, and coordinate with manufacturing. The role emphasizes quality, efficiency, and consistency in producing precise cutlists for production teams.

The ideal candidate has experience with Excel, drafting or design, and a basic comfort with drafting tools. This is a Monday–Friday position with standard hours and opportunities for advancement within a growing

Qualifications

• Intermediate proficiency with Excel to manage cutlists and data.
• Basic drafting or design experience helpful for interpreting sales packages.

Responsibilities

• Quality – develop and implement a personal quality process to ensure all items in the cutlist are included and machined as specified.
• Continuous Improvement – seek improved methods to reduce time, ensure high quality, and meet customer expectations.
• Attendance – arrive on time and minimize unscheduled absences.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to immediately fill the position of Cutlist Job Processor.

Responsibilities

• Quality – Develop and implement, with every job or project, a personal quality process that will ensure that all items required by the sales package design have been included in the cutlist. Specifically, all components purchased by the customer are included and all required machining, special orders, etc. are accurately specified.
• Continuous Improvement – The Cutlist Job Processor is expected to have a positive and proactive attitude towards meeting and surpassing the customers’ expectations. The Cutlist Department’s customers are: The Manufacturing Department, the Installation Department, and the End-User Customer. Each Cutlist Job Processor is to continuously seek out improved methods for reducing the time to complete jobs, ensuring the highest quality with each job, and that all customer expectations have been met or surpassed.
• Attendance – The Cutlist Job Processor is expected to arrive to work on-time and to minimize time away from his/her workstation. All employees are expected to minimize absence days, insofar as possible.

Requirements

• Intermediate or above experience with Microsoft Excel.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. College training is preferred.
• Must be familiar with computer usage and technology.
• Drafting or design experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Typing of 30 WPM preferred.
