Olympic Steel is seeking a Machine Operator - Cut to Length/leveler on first shift to set up and operate the equipment, cut materials per work orders, and verify quality.

This role also packages finished material for shipment and handles general warehouse duties. Candidates should have at least 1 year of machine operation experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. On-site position with a competitive pay range and benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of machine operation experience.
• Knowledge of crane operation and lifting devices preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sets up machine to proper specifications.
• Operates machine to cut materials per work order.
• Checks quality of product coming off machine.
• Packages material and prepares for shipment.
• General material handling/warehouse task.
