CTR Group is seeking a Cut Shop worker to operate cutting equipment in Portsmouth, VA. Immediate openings with a pay range of $18-$22 per hour and weekly pay, plus benefits.

The role involves measuring, cutting, inspecting materials, and maintaining a safe workspace, with opportunities to support fabrication and assembly teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or metal shop preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and basic blueprints or cut lists.
• Familiarity with metal cutting equipment such as saws and plasma cutters is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move materials within safety limits.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws, shears, plasma cutters, or other cutting equipment to process metal materials

Key Responsibilities

• Operate saws, shears, plasma cutters, or other cutting equipment to process metal materials
• Measure, mark, and prepare raw materials based on work orders and production drawings
