Job summary

Responsibilities

• Write SORs and coordinate with purchasing to procure CSW equipment and tooling.
• Provide labor/FTTO input for program pursuit quotes for cut/sew/wrap parts.
• Manage tool builds and deliveries from suppliers within budget and on time.
• Ensure procured tools meet Inteva specifications.
• Coordinate delivery and installation from lab to manufacturing facilities.
• Interact with Inteva team members and customers regularly.
• Provide build concepts for new business pursuits in cut/sew/wrap.
• Offer design guidance for product and tooling development.

Cut, Sew, Wrap Tooling & Equipment Mechanical Engineer

Description

• Write SORs and work with purchasing to procure CSW equipment and Tooling
• Provide Labor/FTTO input for program pursuit quote packages for programs with cut/sew/wrap parts
• Manage tool builds and deliveries from suppliers at or below budget and on time
• Ensure procured tools are built to Inteva specifications
• Coordinate delivery and installation from the cut/sew/wrap lab to the manufacturing facilities.
• Effectively interact with Inteva team members and customers on regular basis
• Provide cut/sew/wrap build concept for new business pursuits
• Provide design guidance for product and tooling development
• Business Travel Mandatory to support North American sites:
  • 50%+ Launch Travel
  • 20% Non-Launch Travel

• Experience working with cut/sew/wrap equipment such as sewing machines bladder machines, press lamination machines and hand tools like heat guns and staple guns
