Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp., operating at PCC Schlosser in Oregon, is seeking an entry-level production technician to remove shell material from molds, blast and cut parts, and prep components for the next production stage. You’ll work hands-on with tools in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and safety are essential.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, enjoy working with their hands, and can follow instructions with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with cutting torches and handheld power tools is a big plus.
• Safety-minded and able to work in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, follow safety rules and report hazards.
• Prep molds using forklifts, air guns, hammers to ready for pour-cup removal.
• Blast away shell material with Waterblast cabinet.
• Cut parts free with oxy/acetylene torch.
• Grind and smooth castings with grinders.
• Measure with dimensional tools during cut-off operations.
• Support team with additional tasks as needed.
