Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Memphis, TN, is hiring for a role coordinating documentation for US customs for entry of goods on behalf of importers. You will ensure accurate classification, data entry, and handling of agency filings with a focus on compliance and service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers.
  • Provide impeccable customer service.

  • Data entry and processing of various import related documentation for submission to US Customs and may handle all PGA's.
  • Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
  • Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations.
  • Work closely with other internal staff, departments, other FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high level of service.
  • Process agency brokerage shipments.
  • May handle remote filings.
  • Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.

Job description

A minimum of one (1) year of experience using computer systems in a professional, educational, or comparable environment with the ability to perform routine tasks such as data entry, document creation, navigation of standard software applications, and operation of basic office equipment.

Shift: Mon - Fri 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CST Location: This is an onsite role.
