The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or Accounting, 3–5 years of trade compliance experience, and a relevant license (LCB or CCS). Strong Excel and database skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of import/export and trade compliance experience with an importer, broker, or forwarder.
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of 19 CFR, HTS, CTPAT, valuation, and rules of origin.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate customs clearance of imported merchandise with external customs brokers.
• Conduct trade audits using statistical sampling methods to maintain high regulatory compliance rates.
• Support export compliance controls, foreign national onboarding, and denied party screening under OFAC/BIS.
• Coordinate local content reporting and part-cost calculations for Free Trade Agreements and Duty Drawback.
• Maintain compliance documentation and standard operating procedures for CBP and government audits.

About the Role:

In this vital supply chain compliance role, you will manage import/export customs clearance, audit international brokerage operations, and ensure compliance with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate customs clearance of imported merchandise with external customs brokers.


• Conduct trade audits using statistical sampling methods to maintain high regulatory compliance rates.


• Support export compliance controls, foreign national onboarding, and denied party screening under OFAC/BIS.
