Job summary

Concord Solutions Group in City of Industry, CA seeks an Entry Writer to join our customs brokerage team and help ensure accurate import/export documentation. You will prepare entry summaries, verify documents, and coordinate with clients to resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a paperless environment with occasional teamwork. Requires bilingual proficiency and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs brokerage and freight forwarding preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a paperless environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual preferred (Chinese and English)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import and export documentation in compliance with U.S. customs regulations
• Assist with the preparation of entry summaries and other required documentation for customs clearance
• Review and verify shipping documents for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing and storage of documents in a paperless environment
• Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint for efficient document management and communication
• Collaborate with the brokerage and freight forwarding teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments
• Process ISF entries
• Prepare basic customs entries
