Reporting to the Customs Compliance & AEO Security Manager EMEA, the Customs Compliance Lead is responsible for Customs Duty compliance across all EMEA entities.
This position is based at our European Divisional Support Centre (EDSC), Irvine and is available for Hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the design and implementation of consistent processes across all EMEA locations for Customs clearance instructions, tariff coding and compliance with authorisations and for monitoring Bonded, End Use and Inward Processing goods.
Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained to support Customs Duty audits across EMEA entities.
Monitor regulatory and legislative changes, ensure HYMH remains compliant and is maximizing use of all available programs.
Knowledge Required
Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years equivalent work experience or 10 years work experience.
5-7 years experience in global trade compliance preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills for working with various levels of management.
Strong Excel skills.
Customs Duty compliance knowledge and practical experience.
Strong data analysis skills.
Experience in written correspondence with HMRC / foreign tax authorities.
Project management skills.
The successful candidate will be subject to background checks.
