Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) Cross Border team is responsible for providing Customers a one-stop shop for international transportation services, offering end-to-end supply chain solutions.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Customer-centric individual to manage daily operational tasks and handle Customer queries. The Customs Brokerage Specialist owns daily operations for customs clearance on ocean, air, rail, and truck cross-border shipments. Responsibilities include communicating with freight forwarders, sellers, and vendors for shipment and document preparation, monitoring shipment clearance status, and escalating issues as needed. The role also involves data entry for entry filing, classifications, inspections, delivery-form generation, tracking, and ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Verify completeness of information during Customer onboarding
  2. Prepare import documentation to ensure timely release and delivery
  3. Verify accuracy of commercial documentation and charges
  4. Submit documentation to regulatory agencies
  5. Meet KPI targets for entry submission and accuracy
  6. Collaborate with service providers to resolve shipment issues
  7. Coordinate with origin and destination logistics teams
  8. Provide second-tier support for Customer Service queries
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry
  • Basic knowledge of Excel (navigation, formulas, lookup functions)
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week with overtime as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or business preferred
  • Licensed customs broker
  • Experience with international logistics, cross-border transportation, or U.S. Customs regulations
  • Experience in customs clearance processes
