Job summary

Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Customs Brokerage Manager in Fife, WA to lead the department responsible for inbound clearance, customer service, and billing accuracy. You will develop staff, streamline processes, and collaborate across functions to deliver efficient service.

The role requires at least 5 years in customs brokerage, 3 years of supervision, and a CHB license or CCS certification. Hybrid work, salary 115k-130k plus bonus, with opportunities to impact the global logistics network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Customs Brokerage import experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in logistics.
• Customs House Broker License or CCS certification required or pending may be considered.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Customs Brokerage department, providing structure, organization, and direction to the team.
• Oversee day-to-day inbound cargo clearance and ensure customer service requirements are met.
• Ensure accurate billing and monitor paid-not-billed reports.
• Communicate with VP of Operations and stakeholders on responsibilities and training needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and departmental efficiency.
