A Day in the Life

This training professional will deliver Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) technology training to surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff from a variety of surgical specialties aligned with the core strategy. In this role you will be actively involved in the continuous improvement of training programs and provide support for customer training and training research initiatives.

This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role will require 50% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training courses to Health Care Professionals (HCP) at designated training partner facilities.
• Establish relationships with designated external training entities in targeted global geographies and work with the marketing and sales training team in a creative, dependable, and flexible manner to improve existing training programs
• Support RAS System troubleshooting at the training center
• Manage training center logistics, inventory, and training calendars in conjunction with key stakeholders
• In conjunction with training center staff, maintain all capital equipment, including but not limited to the cleaning and reprocessing of instruments and accessories

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience
• Or Associate's Degree with 9+ years experience
• Or Baccalaureate Degree with 7+ years experience
• Or advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience – must include experience in Med Device
• Clinical and/or operating room experience required

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Health Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Management, Engineering or Education preferred
• Experience in robotic surgery, capital equipment or equivalent technology
• Proven experience training on complex topics and/or technology
• High capacity and excellent problem-solving skills
• Solid organizational skills and ability to operate independently

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $109,600.00 - $164,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
