Shopbop, a fully integrated Amazon subsidiary in Madison, WI, is seeking an action-oriented, motivated individual passionate about customer satisfaction and experienced with high-end merchandise. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving department goals and thriving in a fast-paced, multitasked environment.

This full-time, direct hire position pays $19.00/hour and requires flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and OT peak times. Our call center operates from 7am to 9pm CST, seven days a week.

Shopbop is the premier online destination for fashion and style, offering a curated selection from over 500 international brands to customers in 165 countries, with fast, free global shipping.

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the voice of Shopbop, handling real-time calls in a virtual environment from customers worldwide. The ideal candidate is caring, enthusiastic, solutions-oriented, and committed to outstanding service.

This role is fully remote. Candidate location restrictions may apply.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Act as a Brand Ambassador, providing world-class service to all customers.
  2. Be the first point of contact to resolve customer issues via email, phone, live chat, and social media.
  3. Provide critical service and product information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Shopbop’s products and services.
  5. Handle inquiries and cases promptly, adhering to policies and SLAs.
  6. Ensure accurate data capture and provide insights on customer feedback.
  7. Utilize various software to resolve inquiries.
  8. Coordinate with external shipping contractors for domestic and international issues.
Basic Qualifications
  1. 2+ years of experience in a luxury customer service environment (preferred).
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with empathy and integrity.
  3. Confidence in making decisions regarding returns, faulty goods, and compensation.
  4. Proficiency in basic math for refunds, discounts, and promotional codes.
  5. Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, with required overtime.
  6. Ability to work remotely in a quiet, internet-connected environment.
  7. Experience working under pressure in high-volume settings.
  8. High-speed internet connection (wired preferred), and proficiency with MS Office and internet browsers.
  9. High school diploma or equivalent.
