Job Overview

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Support Specialist in Summerville, SC. This is a first shift position and the pay is $20–21 per hour.

Overall Purpose

The Customer Support Specialist acts as a liaison between suppliers and end customers with services and offerings throughout the supply chain. They help build and foster the relationship between the supplier, end customer, and TRIGO HT with high quality customer service while maintaining the highest performance standards.

Reporting

May report to Site Supervisor/Site Leads

Responsibilities
  • Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.
  • Build, manage, and foster strong positive relationships with customers (supplier and OEM) by providing the support they need related to warehousing, logistics, inspection, and other services.
  • Maintain the customer's account while preserving customer confidentiality.
  • Handle general inquiries, address complaints, provide solutions to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Maintain supplier customer inventory and records accurately.
  • Systematically segregate, coordinate, and manage disposition of non-shippable material.
  • Create customer specific documents relating to unique projects and requirements.
  • Build and send customer specific reports.
  • Conduct, investigate, and reconcile cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Monitor and communicate supplier inventory levels and supplier delivery performance indicators.

  • Managerial or Supervisory experience preferred.
Technical
  • Proficiency using computerized inventory control systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • General understanding of warehousing methods and shipping procedures.
  • Provide support by tracking, receiving, inventorying, and shipping customer inventory in WMS.
  • Prepare and send Advance Ship Notices (ASN) and/or invoices to end customer, both manual and EDI.
