Job summary

Omya in Mason, Ohio, seeks a temporary Customer Support / Internal Sales Support professional for 12–18 months. You will enter orders, verify pricing, coordinate with Sales and plant/shipping, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining accurate data in SAP and related systems.

Requirements include 3–5 years in customer service or order processing, strong communication, data-entry speed, and proficiency with SAP/BPCS, Lotus Notes, and ERP tools.

Qualifications

• High School or GED and 3–5 years of experience in customer service, accounts payable, or order entry.
• Experience in export transportation or international business in the industrial chemical market is preferred.
• Strong customer focus with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain pricing and customer details in ERP systems.
• Verify pricing and terms of sale; maintain quotations, summary billing, and rebates.
• Input orders in SAP; coordinate with Sales and plant shipping to set delivery dates.
• Track shipments, communicate issues to customers, and resolve complaints.
• Process returns, credits, and debits in SAP; monitor EDI orders when applicable.
• Coordinate with Logistics to arrange carriers for off-site warehouse orders.
• Ensure correct invoicing and maintain rail car loops in SAP when needed.
• Attend customer meetings and provide proactive order status updates.
• Maintain confidentiality and support multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
