Komatsu in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Customer Support Coordinator to serve as liaison between KAC and Distributors on machine and attachment orders, pricing, and invoicing. You will coordinate order receipt, allocation, and status updates to distributors and regional sales.
Responsibilities include processing distributor orders in SAP, monitoring inventory and consignments, expediting shipments, maintaining complete order files, and providing training and support for SAP.
The Customer Support Coordinator serves as a liaison between KAC and Distributors on all matters relating to orders for machines and attachments, availability, delivery and shipment of same. The Customer Support Coordinator receives the distributors’ orders, communicates receipt to Manufacturing and insures that the order is allocated in the required specification and timeframe that is requested. This position also communicates the ongoing status of the orders to the distributor and KAC Regional Sales. The Customer Support Coordinator insures proper pricing and terms are applied for invoicing. A complete machine file is maintained on each order.
The Customer Support Coordinator handles orders for about 1000 machines and 250 separate attachment orders per year representing approximately $400 million in KAC sales. The Coordinator is responsible for the business of approximately 14 major KAC Distributors.
