Job summary

TEWS Company in Houston is seeking a Technical Solutions Analyst III (HRIS Integrations) to support HRIS integrations, data management, and analytics. On-site in the Galleria area, you will work across HRIS platforms and third-party systems to ensure seamless data flow.

You will build REST integrations, map data, perform UAT, develop dashboards in Power BI, and deliver reports using SQL and Excel. Strong communication skills are essential to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years HRIS / business systems or similar technical analyst role.
• Experience with SuccessFactors, UKG Pro, or comparable HRIS platforms.
• Strong background in complex integrations across multiple systems/vendors.
• Hands-on technical skills: REST APIs, CPI/Boomi or similar, SQL, XML/JSON, SFTP, WSDL, XSLT.
• Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and support HRIS integrations between core HR platforms and ancillary systems.
• Design and maintain API-based integrations (REST) using middleware tools such as CPI or Boomi.
• Analyze integration points, data mapping, and transformation requirements.
• Support HRIS configuration, add-ons, upgrades, and release impact analysis.
• Troubleshoot integration alerts, coordinate fixes with IT and vendors.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (requirements, designs, test scripts).
• Develop and execute UAT and regression testing for changes.
• Deliver reporting and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel.
• Apply HR analytics to identify trends and support data-informed decisions.

Overview

This is an on-site role in Houston, TX (Galleria area) supporting HRIS and payroll-related integrations, system enhancements, data management, and reporting/analytics.

What you’ll do

• Build, enhance, and support HRIS integrations between core HR platforms and ancillary systems.
• Design and maintain API-based integrations (REST) using middleware tools such as SAP CPI or Boomi.
• Analyze integration points/gaps; define data mapping and transformation requirements.
• Support HRIS configuration, add-on modules, upgrades/enhancements, and release impact analysis.
• Troubleshoot integration alerts/data issues; coordinate fixes with IT teams and vendors.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (requirements, designs, test scripts, procedures).
• Develop and execute UAT and regression testing for system/integration changes.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, HR, IT/CS) or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 6+ years experience in HRIS, Business Systems, or similar technical analyst role.
• Experience with SuccessFactors , UKG Pro , or comparable HRIS/time & labor platforms.
• Strong background with complex integrations across multiple systems/vendors.
• Hands-on technical skills including:
  • REST APIs , integration/middleware platforms (CPI/Boomi or similar)
  • SQL (querying, reporting support)
  • XML / JSON (parsing/transformations)
  • Familiarity with SFTP , WSDL , and transformation tools such as XSLT
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
