Job summary

Milwaukee Valve Company is seeking an International Purchasing Specialist to join our New Berlin, WI team. This role handles order entry, pricing inquiries, and coordination with pricing and sales teams to ensure accurate pricing and on-time shipments.

The ideal candidate will have a one-year certificate from college or technical school, strong customer service and communication skills, and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Promptly answers calls and emails regarding order status, inquiries, and pricing from customers, sales reps, and field managers.
• Enters and audits customer orders to ensure correct entry and pricing to avoid returns and price deductions.
• Expedites shipments of customer orders and communicates pricing updates to pricing department.
• Supports field sales by providing updates on customer pricing for standard profiles and job orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned and demonstrates CPR—Courtesy, Professionalism, and Respect to customers.
