uiAgent in New York City is hiring to own the customer relationship from onboarding through ongoing success. You will bridge customers (accounting firms, controllers, CFOs) and our product team.
You’ll solve product questions, map workflows, and drive value from Ava, our AI agent, while building playbooks and training materials for scale. This role requires startup hours and a real passion for helping clients.

We are a pre-Series A startup building AI Agents for CPAs/Accounting teams. We have significant traction, revenue, and huge upside potential.
Looking to hire only the best of the best. You need to be disciplined, hard-working, and willing to sacrifice weekends for our bigger vision: disrupting an entire industry while helping many people along the way. Over the past 18 months building this product, we’ve become friends who enjoy each other’s company, share dark humor, and find disruptive solutions to interesting challenges.
We’re looking for someone to own the customer relationship from onboarding through ongoing success. This isn’t a “send NPS surveys and hope for the best” role — you’ll be the bridge between our customers (accounting firms, controllers, CFOs) and our product team.
Own the post-sale relationship with our customers — onboarding, training, check-ins, renewals
Become the person our customers trust to solve their problems, whether that’s a product question, a workflow issue, or a feature request
Translate customer feedback into actionable product insights — you’ll sit between accounting professionals and our engineering team
Help customers get real value from Ava (our AI agent) — this means understanding their accounting workflows deeply enough to suggest how our AI can help
Build playbooks, documentation, and training materials as we scale
Identify upsell and expansion opportunities (you’ll know when a customer is ready for more)
You genuinely like helping people — not in a corporate way, in a real way. You’re the person friends call when they need something figured out.
You have a background in accounting, audit, or finance (CPA, audit associate, bookkeeper, tax preparer — any of it counts). You know what a month-end close feels like, what reconciliation means, why audit trails matter.
You’re comfortable with technology — you don’t need to code, but you should be the type who figures out new software quickly and enjoys it. If you’ve used tools like QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or any ERP, that’s a plus.
You communicate clearly and warmly — over email, on calls, in person. No jargon, no fluff.
You’re organized and can manage multiple customer relationships without dropping balls.
You’re in NYC or willing to be. This role is on‑site.
You are okay with working startup hours.
Experience at an accounting firm (Big 4, mid‑market, or small firm — all valuable)
Familiarity with AI tools or a genuine curiosity about how AI is changing accounting
Startup experience – you’re comfortable with ambiguity and building things from scratch
CPA or EA certification
Substantial equity
Flat organizational structure
Competitive salary
Cash Bonus
Great equipment
Free dinners
Healthcare, dental, vision, commuter benefits, and more!
