Job description

Verity is looking for a remote Customer Success Associate to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate has a client-first mentality and is excited about helping to drive customer adoption of the VerityData platform. We are seeking scrappy and goal-oriented individuals who have an interest and passion for the financial markets. VerityData works with hedge funds and asset managers, providing them with clean data and research drawn SEC filings - as we help them accelerate investment decisions with quicker insights, more confidence and differentiated idea generation.

As a Customer Success Associate, you will be supporting the team in working with our clients so will need to be highly communicative, team oriented, sales minded, and customer obsessed. There will be an opportunity to grow and gain valuable experience, as we are a tight knit team, and along with training on the relevant datasets that we cover, you'll gain first-hand knowledge of equity investment approaches from client interactions.


Key Duties:
  • Conduct outreach to targeted accounts to book demo meetings and on-sites with existing and prospective users at large investment management organizations for senior members of the team
  • Engage with our clients via cold-calling, emails, and other forms of messaging or marketing initiatives
  • Own post-call follow ups including generating bespoke reports and updating account settings to help increase retention and adoption rates
  • Support the team in mapping key accounts to assist in closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Run and deliver custom Excel files on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and one-off basis
  • Concisely explain VerityData value proposition to prospective users and determine whether their needs could be met with the VerityData platform
  • Understand best practices for client engagement and the numerous ways customers will leverage our datasets, technology, reports, and expert analysis from the Research team to help with their analysis.
About You:
  • 1-3 years of customer success experience with financial services clients, ideally buy-side (hedge funds, asset managers, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable on SEC Filings (10-K, 10-Q, earnings transcripts, etc.)
  • Intermediate+ Microsoft Excel capabilities (VLOOKUPs, Formulas, Pivot Tables)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly competitive and coachable
  • Strong work ethic, detail oriented with a high level of integrity and emotional intelligence
  • Genuine, open, and humble
  • Proficiency with Salesforce is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree or related work experience
