Job summary

Market Value Southwest, based in Hoboken, NJ, is seeking a Customer Success professional to ensure customers derive ongoing value from our products and services. The role focuses on understanding objectives, monitoring engagement, and coordinating internal resources to support retention and renewal.

The team works proactively with established customers, leveraging CRM tools and cross‑functional collaboration to drive adoption and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer success, account management, client services, customer experience, or a related customer‑focused role preferred.
  • Experience managing ongoing customer relationships or account responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong listening and relationship‑management abilities.
  • Ability to understand customer objectives and identify appropriate resources.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities.
  • Strong follow‑through and time‑management skills.
  • Comfortable conducting scheduled customer conversations and account check‑ins.
  • Ability to recognize changes in customer engagement or satisfaction.
  • Strong problem‑solving and judgment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Experience with CRM or customer‑management systems preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar business software

Responsibilities

  • Gather feedback regarding product and service experience.
  • Identify recurring customer needs, challenges, and areas of interest.
  • Share customer insights with relevant internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer discussions and account activity.
  • Support customer adoption initiatives and educational activities.
  • Identify potential satisfaction or retention concerns and communicate them internally.
  • Assist with account reviews and renewal preparation.
  • Maintain consistent follow‑up on customer commitments and outstanding actions.
  • Track basic customer success metrics and account activity.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, service, and other departments as appropriate.

Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Success professional to help customers receive consistent value from the products and services they use. This position focuses on understanding customer objectives, monitoring engagement, identifying potential challenges, and coordinating appropriate resources throughout the customer relationship.
