Customer Solutions Manager

PURPOSE

This CORE Customer Solutions Manager can be residence based if the incumbent resides and works within the contiguous United States time zones. It also can be based at the Whippany, NJ facility.

The primary responsibility of this role includes managing day-to-day end to end order-to-bill operations that realizes highest levels of customer satisfaction for the Pharma division. The position is responsible for developing customer relationships through effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The position holder is in charge of monitoring, reviewing, and improving/maintaining processes and procedures to leverage efficiencies while maintaining compliance.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

The position holder is operating with multiple internal and external stakeholders across all Business Units, including but not limited to Government and Commercial customers, Business Unit leads, Sales Area Managers, Finance Business Partners as well as multiple stakeholders within Product Supply and IT.

These interfaces include stakeholders of high seniority such as Directors within Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Supply and IT, Senior Buyers of Physicians, Hospitals, Clinics and technicians, as well as multiple Group Purchasing Organizations and Independent Distribution Networks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Improving customer service experience, creating engaged customers and facilitating organic growth;
  • Responsibilities cover multiple functional areas in: O2B Management, Customer Relations Management, Financial Management and Administrative Systems Support including government and regulatory affairs for those accounts directly managed by numerous account managers located within the organization;
  • Taking ownership of customer inquiries and follow through to resolution. Establishing relationships with cross-functional partners which include master data, bill to cash, transportation, Sales and finance;
  • Oversite of all third-party operations at Accenture and GBS Shared Services teams in Delhi. Train and support customer service coworkers;
  • Successfully transitions all strategic plans into tactical objectives. Plans and executes all logistics activities (customer service, support of Product Supply inventory management and Fulfillment, Transportation and Distribution;
  • Works closely with Bill-to-Cash team to develop and maintain full order-to-cash excellence;
  • Disposition: High levels of honesty and integrity; can do philosophy; forward thinking in a fast-paced environment;
  • Operational support for DSCSA process including: exception & error management, customer/account master data validation and ensuring B2B maintenance and integration requirements met;
  • Support of partner onboarding for DSCSA ensuring smooth integration and data flow between systems for onboarded customers, translates partner requirements into onboarding plans; assist in DSCSA compliance documentation, continuous improvement and audit readiness.
WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

REQUIRES QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years of experience in Order-to-Cash and Supply Chain; alternatively, Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience;
  • Must have at least 3 years of SAP experience;
  • Excellent planning, organization, and prioritizing abilities;
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills;
  • Excellent customer awareness and focus;
  • Strong communication/presentation skills also required both oral and written;
  • Able to develop, present, and explain in depth reports using various SAP & Microsoft applications);
  • Comfortable working directly with all levels of customer’s management and internal stakeholder;
  • Experience in dealing with Hospitals, GPO’s and IDN’s located throughout the United States. (with emphasis in Logistics Management and/or Supply Chain Management).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in an Order-to-Cash pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer health or FMCG industry.
