Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Director, Customer Solutions in Managed Transportation to lead strategic client relationships, drive value through operational solutions, and ensure performance meets client expectations across a broad network.

You will collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Freight Bill Audit, Solutions Engineering and Technology to design and implement CIRs, monitor revenue by account, and oversee multi-level engagements while guiding teams to exceed service and financial targets.

Qualifications

• 7 years of logistics experience.
• Experience in a managerial role.
• Experience performing complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management or Logistics is preferred.
• Availability to travel up to 25% of the time is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective and efficient methods to meet customer needs; serve as the primary customer contact on all new initiatives and/or high-level critical issues.
• Drive operational efficiencies to improve service and financial performance.
• Conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers to assess service needs and usage trends on a regular basis.
• Engage customers through continuous improvement roadmaps (CIRs) and drive value across Operations, Procurement, Freight Bill Audit, Solutions Engineering and Technology.
• Execute individually assigned components of sales to startup action plans – Support Sales teams to grow FUM for Managed Transportation.
• Develop and maintain strategic multilevel customer relationships to uncover specific needs and behaviors of key decision makers.
• Monitor revenue achievement by customer and undertake appropriate action with key stakeholders to ensure that commitments are being met or exceeded.
• Participate in developing integration plans to support client and company initiatives.
• Meet objectives in the areas of financial performance, service, innovation, solutions, and relationships.

At a Minimum, You’ll Need

• 7 years of logistics experience


• Experience in a managerial role


• Experience performing complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems

It’d Be Great If You Also Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or Logistics


• Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends; travel up to 25% of the time


• The capacity to take calculated risks and make strategic, results-oriented decisions while accepting responsibility for the results
