Fastenal Co. in Portage, Indiana, is hiring for a Part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support at our 6575 Daniel Burnham Dr location.

This entry-level role supports movement of product at the customer site and may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding, with shift hours MON-FRI 7:00am-5:00pm and 10-28 hours per week. You will operate computer programs and handheld devices, move and audit shipments, keep the workspace clean, and follow health, safety, and sustainability rules.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Possess a current full valid driver's license.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs and up to 75lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (US) or equivalent.

OVERVIEW

Working as Part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support, you will facilitate the movement of product through our customer site. This is an entry-level position based out of our branch located at 6575 Daniel Burnham Dr, Portage, IN 46368. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Operating computer programs and wireless hand held devices

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior warehouse experience
• Prior experience operating a forklift
