Customer Site Warehouse Support

Location: 6006 E Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78741

Shift: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm, up to 28 hours/week

Overview

Join Fastenal! Our distribution center is seeking energetic, team-oriented individuals to support our fast-paced warehouse operations. We are committed to environmental protection and providing a safe, healthy workplace. As a Part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support, you will facilitate product movement at our customer site. This entry-level role offers flexible scheduling after onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

1. Operate computer programs and wireless handheld devices
2. Accurately move and handle products
3. Audit and prepare outgoing shipments
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
5. Follow health, safety, and sustainability protocols
6. Participate in programs supporting health, safety, and sustainability goals
7. Complete environmental health and safety training

Required Qualifications

1. Must be 18 years or older
2. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
3. Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
4. Ability to work independently and in a team
5. Willingness to work flexible hours and extra time as needed
6. Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
7. Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 75 lbs
8. Pass drug screening (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous warehouse experience
2. Experience operating a forklift
