Qualifications

• Count, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including decimals; ability to calculate figures and percentages.
• Comprehend bank operations, policies and procedures.
• Recognize irregular or suspicious transactions.
• Determine whether confidential information requests should be granted or refused.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Interpersonal skills to deal with customers and co-workers.
• Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Familiarity with calculators, typewriters; computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases; basic understanding of debits and credits.

Responsibilities

• Handle general teller functions including cashing checks and taking deposits.
• Balance daily transactions and cash drawer; verify cash totals.
• Run proof and balance ATM machines.
• Assist with special assignments or projects as needed.
• Sell and promote bank services to enhance the bank's image and customer service.
