What You Will Do And How You Will Contribute

• Engage with customers, greet, and assist them to create a positive shopping experience
• Help customers find the right products, provide recommendations, and offer solutions for their projects
• Stock and organize merchandise to maintain a clean, well-presented store
• Answer phone calls politely and promptly, addressing customer inquiries
• Assist with inventory tasks, including cycle counts, verifying stock levels, and maintaining records
• Upsell related items and promote the Do It Best reward program to build loyalty
• Follow company standards and procedures for smooth store operations
• Process checkouts accurately, adhering to cash handling procedures
• Continuously expand product knowledge across departments to enhance service and identify selling opportunities
• Address and resolve customer issues with management support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Complete all training to stay updated on products and policies
• Assist in other departments as needed to provide excellent customer service
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management

What You Will Bring To Our Team

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficiency with computers and POS systems

• Knowledge of cycle counting or inventory processes is beneficial
• Strong customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile
