Job summary

White Castle in Joliet, IL is seeking an entry-level team member to join a historic, family-owned brand. No prior experience required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

You’ll be serving customers, handling register transactions, and assisting in drive-thru and kitchen areas with a focus on speed, accuracy and a positive, energetic attitude. Pay starts at $15.00 per hour with the potential to earn up to $19.20 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Must love to smile, laugh & have fun.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly.
• Enjoy working in a high energy, fast paced environment.
• Promote and drive White Castle initiatives and increase brand loyalty.
• Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the counter and drive-thru.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Prepare orders and maintain sanitation throughout shift.
• Work the fryer/griddle and assist with food preparation as needed.
• Keep work area clean and support team safety and standards.
